If you’ve been following along with us either here on this blog or on social media, you’re probably well aware (since we’ve been teasing it for some time now!) we recently opened up shop in Toronto’s Riverside/Leslieville neighborhood, expanding on the former half of bricks and clicks, both pillars of which are central to BRIKA. From even before we officially opened doors right down to our grand opening party and beyond, we’ve certainly felt the love from our new community in the city’s east end. If you’re not a Toronto resident, or you simply haven’t had the opportunity to stop by yet, allow us to give you a virtual tour of our brand new shop.
A bestseller amongst those on the hunt for a great baby shower gift and young families, we’re happy to report that we’re well stocked in The Oyster’s Pearl’s line of mama and papa bear t-shirts and matching baby bear onesies, which consistently sell out. BRIKA’s very own Creativity Crawl Map was drawn by local artist LeeAndra Cianci and serves as a centralized resource for Toronto’s creative pit stops, making it a great souvenir gift.
Forest and Waves’ line of enamel houseware make for adorable, nature-centric gifts, their plates featuring typography that reads “Out of water, I am nothing” and “Going to the woods is going home.” Smells Like Canada’s line of candles do just that, featuring scents from Hogtown and beyond that make great Cancuk-centric gifts.
Speaking of candles: if you need ‘em, we have ‘em, and then some:
- Candelles’ line of hand-poured, natural soy candles come in lip-smacking scents such as Fig and Sugar, Toasted Marshmallow and Lavender Sage
- Campy Candles encapsulate moods rather than scents, like A Late Night, A Fresh Start and Good Karma
- Northern Flicker Co’s soy candles come in drool-worthy fragrances such as Buttered Popcorn, Cotton Candy and Caramel Apple
- Type.lites candles are a customer favorite, poured with wooden wicks that create a delightful fireplace crackle when burned!
Think of us as a one-stop shop when it comes to all things celebration-related, from gifting to party favors, such as colorful confetti balloons, to our bestselling Push-Pop Confetti.
We’ve got you covered when it comes to paper goods, from adorable prints perfect for nurseries or little ones’ bedrooms, to cards both cheeky and sentimental for every occasion (“Dude. You’re a dad.” in particular caught the eye of BlogTO).
Whether you’re living in or visiting Toronto, be sure to stop by and say hi at 768 Queen Street East.
