When did you know you wanted to be an Interior Designer?
When I was young I used to rearrange my bedroom and always had fun with that. I loved learning about mixing colors with my mother who is an artist. In high school and college I interned for my neighbor who had an interior design business. It was then that I realized that I wanted to go to design school to pursue a career in interior design.

How and when did you start your own business?
Following design school in New York City I worked for some of the larger interior design firms and gained some great experience. I left after a few years to start my own business, I knew I wanted to be my own boss.

What has been your biggest inspiration? Travel and other areas of visual arts have been my biggest sources of inspiration. I love to read fashion magazines and see different ideas of colors and textures put together.

What words do you live by? Edit ruthlessly. – Margaret Russell
