Covet Garden is an online décor and lifestyle magazine based out of Toronto. Lynda Felton, Jessica Reid and Rhonda Riche founded this monthly publication three years ago because they wanted to show spaces that had been thoughtfully designed by the people that lived in them. Just as BRIKA features the work of authentic makers, artisans and designers, Covet Garden also strives to celebrate modern creativity and the belief that our lives are as beautiful as we wish to make them.
Covet Garden also shares BRIKA’s love of storytelling—each issue delves into the history of the householders, which is why we are excited to announce that the CG team will be contributing a series of guest posts exploring emerging design trends based on these spaces and sourcing complementary finds from BRIKA makers.
Each issue takes a peek into one space, giving readers a complete tour of its colors, furnishings and collections. It also curates DIY projects, food and drink recipes and style suggestions inspired by that home’s inhabitants. Over the years, we’ve noticed that these folks are ahead of the curve when it comes to choosing handcrafted goods and are willing to embrace beautiful objects that have not yet hit the mainstream.
In March, a print edition called Covet Garden Home will hit stores across North America. This book was created to showcase all kinds of inspiration from our favourite spaces as well as brand new, print only homes. A lot of detail went into every detail—from design to paper stock—so readers can have a resource that they could keep for a long time.
